Stock Futures, Bitcoin Jump After S&P 500’s Worst Week in Two Years

U.S. stock futures climbed, offering investors a reprieve from a recent stretch of whipsaw trading that had sent stocks and cryptocurrencies falling.

Futures for the S&P 500 gained 1.7% Tuesday, while those for the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 1.5%. Contracts for the Nasdaq-100 jumped 1.7%. The U.S. stock market was closed Monday for the Juneteenth federal holiday.
